The WCAG 2 is a complicated standard, whether in English or the French translation. In this talk we will give an overview of the WCAG Principles, Guidelines and Success Criteria. We will discuss the next steps for the WCAG, the Mobile Task Force, and what we are doing to help ensure that authors of mobile content can produce accessible mobile documents and applications. What are the important things to think about when creating accessible mobile content?
We will review the new document which maps WCAG to mobile web views on responsive designs, and mobile applications, including:

Biographie
David MacDonald est le président de CanAdapt Solutions Inc. (can-adapt.com). Il est un membre vétéran du groupe de travail WCAG et le seul Canadien dans l'équipe. Il est membre du Comité de certification de l'Association internationale des professionnels de l'accessibilité (AIPA). Il est également un membre des équipes Mobile, WCAG2ICT et Méthodologie d'évaluation WCAG, ainsi que du groupe de travail HTML5, et l'éditeur du document Using WAI-ARIA in HTML5. Il était le conseiller principal du gouvernement du Canada pour WCAG dans l'affaire Donna Jodhan.
David travaille avec les personnes handicapées depuis 19 ans pour la Banque TD, la Banque Scotia, RBC, le gouvernement du Canada et de nombreuses autres organisations, grandes et petites. Il a enseigné WCAG aux développeurs à l'Université d'Ottawa, en anglais et en français. Il a aussi écrit la chanson thème WCAG qui a reçu plus de 40 000 vues sur YouTube.com.
